Donna Fink, 88, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013.
She was the daughter of Joseph and Mabel (Gustin) Engle, born on Sept. 7, 1925, in Middletown.
At an early age, Donna lived at the Indiana Masonic Home, where she met and fell in love with Ralph Fink. As a pastor’s wife, she was very active in all of the associations of A.R.C. and continued her work at home caring for and teaching arts and crafts to the mentally challenged.
Donna was a talented seamstress and interior designer and did floral arrangements. She enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting, working on woodworking projects with her husband, and especially making toys and dolls of all types.
Donna was a member of the Church of The Nazarene.
Donna will be greatly missed by her children, Charlene (Robert) Roberson of Jackson, Miss., Butch (Debbie) Fink of Columbus, Tim Fink, and Becky (Terry) Merriman and Mike Parton, both of Punta Gorda, Fla.; brothers, Jack (Joyce) Engle, Bud (Betty) Engle and Richard (Marita) Engle, all of Anderson; sisters, Mary (Larry) McCarty of Indianapolis and Judy Bailey of Anderson; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Ralph Fink; one granddaughter; one stepgrandson; sisters, Louise and Jean; and two infant brothers.
The Rev. John Bailey will conduct a service at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. Morton St. (U.S. 31 South) in Franklin. Friends may call from noon until the service time Tuesday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
