Tommy Ray Clark, 74, passed away at his home in Trafalgar, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda Clark (Proctor); three children, Bill (Joyce) Clark, Julie (Steve) Warren and Brad (Debra) Clark; grandchildren, Amy Lee, Jason (Paige) Parsons and Ryan Clark; grandson-in-law, David Swartz; Braden Clark, Blake Clark and Abigail Clark; great-grandchildren, Kaije Swartz, Kaymen Swartz, Brianna Parsons and Dalton Parsons. He is also survived by siblings, Betty, James, Sandy and Stephen and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
He was preceded in passing by a granddaughter, Mandi Swartz; sister, Virginia McKinley and brother, Roy Clark.
He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School.
Tommy was a member of Local 103 as an Operating Engineer for 42 years. After retiring he went to work for six years with CTI Trucking to buy all the toys he had been wanting.
He was a member of Nineveh Christian Church where he was the song leader for 30 years. He loved music but his passion was fishing and hunting where he had many trophies to display. He never missed an opportunity to present the gospel. His talent for building was represented by the last 3 homes he built for his family. He was our patriarch.
A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Memorial contributions can be made to Nineveh Christian Church music fund for the continuation of his love for music.
