Lois Ellen McGuire
 

Lois Ellen McGuire, 84, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.

She was born Sept. 5, 1929, in Glasgow, Ky.

She married William Daniel McGuire on March 1, 1951. He lovingly survives in Franklin.

Lois also is survived by two daughters, Donna Sue (Paul) Sappenfield and Linda Faye (Mark) Henry, both of Franklin; grandchildren, Melissa Chumbley, Jake Sappenfield, Heather Thomas, Marcus Henry and Todd Sappenfield; great-grandchildren, Nakayla, Hannah, Abby, Hadley, Emma, Olivia, Brady and Alex; and one brother, Leslie Dean of Glasgow, Ky.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

She attended school in Glasgow, Ky.

She was a homemaker.

Lois was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Southport.

She thoroughly enjoyed shopping with her daughters and spending time with her family.

A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
