Kenneth Lee Wright Jr
Kenneth Lee Wright Jr., 54, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013.
He was born in Indianapolis on Dec. 28, 1958, to Kenneth Lee and Judith A. Day Wright.
Ken was a 1977 graduate of Warren Central High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 1981 and his master’s degree from IU in 1982.
Ken was employed by IVC Industrial Coatings Inc. as the chief financial officer since 1991. He also taught accounting at IUPUI.
He was an avid sports fan and Harley-Davidson enthusiast. He worked as a referee for high school basketball.
Ken’s love and dedication to his children will eternally warm their hearts, and his warmth and humor will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
Ken was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his two children, Samantha and Andrew Wright, and their mother, Kathy Wright; mother and stepfather, Judith A. Kerst and Kenny Kerst; stepmother, Tresa Wright; sisters, Dawn (Dave) Emberton and Teresa (Gary) Rominger; nephew, Dylan Emberton; nieces, Lauren, Heather and Meghan Rominger; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St. (U.S. 31 South), Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 2 to
6 p.m. Saturday and from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
