Betty A. Wade
Betty A. (Pendleton) Wade, 74, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, in Franklin. She was a resident of Whiteland.
Betty was born Feb. 28, 1939, in Ella, Ky., to Omer R. and Elsie Mae (Price) Pendleton.
She married James R. Wade on May 18, 1954, in Kentucky. They were married for 35 years.
Betty was self-employed, cleaning homes and businesses locally.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching the History Channel and crime shows and sending cards to family and friends. She loved horses.
She was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church in Kentucky.
Survivors include three sisters, Frances M. Grider of Greenwood, Stella L. Johnson of Franklin and Patricia A. Kelsay of Whiteland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Dennis E. Pendleton; and a sister, Judy Beaty.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
