Helen L. (Richeson) Nuffer, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2013.
She was born May 11, 1926, to Olda and Violet (Frazier) Richeson. She graduated from Trafalgar High School in 1944.
She married George W. Nuffer on Dec. 24, 1944. He passed away Jan. 4, 2011.
She worked several years for Purdue University and was a member of Greenwood Presbyterian Church.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and John Gladish of Greenwood; two grandsons, Jason W. Brown of New Whiteland and Michael D. (Miriam) Brown of Valencia, Spain; two great-granddaughters, Olivia E. Brown and Georgia E. Brown; a sister, Ruth Taylor of New Whiteland; and a brother, Robert Richeson of Palmetto, Fla.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Melvin Richeson; and a granddaughter-in-law, Amy Brown.
A private family service will be conducted. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is handling arrangements.
