Fred E. Bodine
Fred E. Bodine, 59, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care of Greenwood.
He was born Nov. 3, 1953, in Franklin, to James D. and Lora E. (Cooper) Bodine.
He was a 1972 graduate of Center Grove High School and a 1976 graduate of the University of Evansville.
He was a professional handyman and painter for many years.
He enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. He loved western movies and the music of the Eagles and Kenny Chesney.
Survivors include a brother, Michael J. (Lana) Bodine of Martinsville; two sisters, Becky S. (Mark) Smart of Nineveh and Lisa A. (Scott) Enright of Carmel; nieces, Kristen M. (David) Lovell and Dayna R. (Justin) Jones, both of Indianapolis, Annie L. (Anthony) Syers of Greenwood, Carmen M. (Clay) Bodine and Kayley A. (Michael) Armstrong, both of Martinsville, and Abbie L. Enright of Carmel; nephew, Andy S. Enright of Carmel; uncle and aunt, Chuck and Sue Boltz of Greenwood; and several cousins, including Dr. Scott (Jane) Boltz of Greentown, Steve (Martha) Boltz of Indianapolis and Tony (Cheryl) DeMott of Martinsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The Rev. Tom Knight will conduct a service at 3 p.m. Sunday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. Morton St. (U.S. 31 South) in Franklin. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the mortuary.
