Donald Edwin Prince
Donald Edwin Prince, 82, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed from this world in the early hours of Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, after a brief illness.
He was born July 21, 1931, in Franklin to parents James Howard and Ruby Zelpha Prince, who preceded him in death. He resided in Midlothian, Texas, during the latter portion of his life, having retired from the Air Force and later the city of Grand Prairie.
He enjoyed time with his family, restoring antique cars and riding his motorcycles in his later years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Louise (Schoener) Prince; and a sister, Ruby Alice Brown.
He is survived by a brother, Marlin Prince; two sisters, Joan Lattimore and Carolyn Prince Williams; daughter and son-in-law, Dee Prince and Robert Moore; son, Donald Alan;
daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen Denise and Charlie Calhoun; and son, James Howard.
In addition, he is survived by grandchildren, Christopher and Kristyn Calhoun, Melissa Dahl, and Sean, Kristy, Shaina and Sharleena Fewell; and five great-grandchildren, Julia and Luke Dahl, and Josie, Leahla and Chase Fewell.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Midlothian Funeral Home in Texas. Burial will be at Dallas Fort Worth Cemetery in Texas.
