Ronald Wayne Willey

Ronald Wayne Willey, 56, of Edinburgh, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.

He was born Dec. 31, 1956, in Shelbyville, the son of Herschel H. and Mable M. (Claytor) Willey.

Survivors include two sons, Bradley Dale (Jennifer Horning) Davis of Indianapolis and Ryan Wayne Willey of Hope; two brothers, Herschel (Sue) Willey of Columbus and Terry (Bernie) Willey of Murrieta, Calif.; significant other, Brenda Nichols of Edinburgh; grandsons, Brayden Dale Davis and Braxton Wayne Davis; a sister-in-law, Sherrie Willey of Prince’s Lakes; and several nieces and nephews.

He also leaves behind his dog, Rooter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael H. Willey.

Ron graduated from Waldron High School in 1975.

He last worked for Ditech Inc. in Edinburgh doing construction and welding.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Shelby County.
