Joann E. Hagan
Joann E. Hagan, 83, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013. She was a longtime resident of Greenwood.
She was born March 17, 1930, in Indianapolis to Frank and Sarah (Berry) Fyffe. She married Don J. Hagan on Oct. 9, 1948. He passed away May 28, 2006.
Survivors include two sons, Pat (Michele) Hagan of Franklin and Kevin (LeAnne) Hagan of Nashville, Tenn.; one daughter, Diane (Brian) O’Connor of Greenwood; two brothers, James (Nancy) Fyffe of Carefree, Ariz., and David (Ellie) Fyffe of Greenwood; two sisters, Judy (Ron) Crooke of Greenwood and Donna Fyffe of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Gerri Hagan Bailey; two sons, Steven and Dave Hagan; a brother, Frank O. Fyffe Jr.; and a sister, Barbara J. (Fyffe) Engelking.
Joann was employed as a personnel director at Ertel Manufacturing, retiring in 1992.
She was a longtime active member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 S. Meridian St. Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the church, where a rosary service will be conducted at 7 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, Hearts for Haiti Ministry, 335 S. Meridian St, Greenwood, IN 46143.
