Charles Lee Fouts “Jitter”
Charles Lee Fouts “Jitter”, 75, of Greenwood passed away Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 9, 1938, in Hazard, Ky., a son of Don Charles and Henda Lee (Combs) Fouts. He was lovingly raised by Zita Bianchi Fouts. He married Suedell (Jordan) Fouts on May 16, 1959. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Don Millard Fouts (Kathy) of Greenwood and Tina Fouts of Franklin; a brother, Gene Porter Fouts (Susan); a sister, Susan Melton (Dexter); and a sister-in-law, Okcha Kirk.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Brandon Pettijohn (Alexandra), Austin Pettijohn, Ryan Pettijohn (Christy), Courtney Lomboy (Marrion) and Charles “Brock” Fouts; three great-grandchildren, Elijah Rogers, Abriam Lomboy and Ryder Pettijohn; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Don Marshall Fouts.
Jitter served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an outstanding man of America, a Kentucky Colonel and belonged to the Greenwood Masonic Lodge No. 514. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood. The funeral service will be at
10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Tom Bridges will officiate.
