Linda Sue House Beardsley, 53, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, after a cardiovascular event. She was a resident of Indianapolis.
She was born Sept. 14, 1959, in Indianapolis to Jesse R. House and the late Nancy Schmoll House.
After St. Barnabas Grade School, Linda graduated from Perry Meridian High School in 1978.
Linda worked in modeling and retail for 35 years, mostly at L.S. Ayres and then Macy’s selling
Estee Lauder products. She had a lot to do with the beauty of women on the southside.
Linda loved her family and was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt and stepmother.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Joseph A. Beardsley; her father, Jesse R. House; two sisters, Dawn Gentry and Sherry (Mark) Taylor; a stepson, Brian Beardsley; a stepdaughter, Jacqueline (Ben) Robison; nephews and nieces, Sean (Catherine) Puckett, Jocelyn (Chris) Kean, Keith (Amanda) Gentry, Klint Gentry, Brian (Amy) Taylor; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy House; and grandparents, Pete and Marguerite House and Joe and Ruth Schmoll.
There will be no calling at her request. A private family service and burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses to be said at St. Roch Catholic Church.
