John G. Mulinaro
John G. Mulinaro, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013.
He was born in Indianapolis on July 2, 1924, to Joseph and Lena (Murello) Mulinaro.
John owned and operated a furniture and appliance store for 30 years. After retiring, he operated a booth at the southside flea market for many years.
He was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 3660 and the Italian-American Club.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Clara May Mulinaro; a son, Steven A. Mulinaro; and a grandson, Joe Mulinaro.
He is survived by four children, John (Mara) Mulinaro, Mark (Debbie) Mulinaro, Tim (Jackie) Mulinaro and Susan (John) Lindstrom; two sisters, Joanne Ingle and Angie Mulinaro; a brother, Joseph Mulinaro; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 8300 Rahke Road, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Daniel F. O’ Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St., Indianapolis, where morning prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Friday prior to Mass. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Indianapolis.
