Iva Hall, 66, passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones at her residence in Franklin.
She was born March 22, 1947, in Liberty, Ky., to Jesse James and Geneva (Cox) King.
She married Herb Hall on Dec. 19, 1969. He survives. Other survivors include her mother, Geneva King; children, Karen Olson and Robin Hall; brother, James King (Judy); sisters, Norma Allen (Gary), Janet Marchant and Kim Bartlett; grandchildren, Megan Olson and Madison Olson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in passing by her father, Jesse James King; a brother, Perry King; and nieces, Tammy Allen and Shelly Bartlett.
Iva was a graduate of Franklin Community High School, class of 1966. She was employed at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin for 43 years, retiring in 2012.
Iva was a member of First Assembly of God in Trafalgar and attended GracePoint Church in Whiteland.
She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, working on puzzles, traveling to Liberty, Ky., for the Apple Fest, going to yard sales and flea markets, and collecting Longaberger baskets.
A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
