Jennifer Lee Wilson
Jennifer Lee Wilson, 35, passed away Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, in Shelbyville. She was a resident of Columbus.
She was born June 23, 1978, in Beech Grove to Pamela J. (Nickens) Wilson and James W. Wilson.
She is survived by her 15-year-old son, Austin Cole Wilson of Quincy; her parents, Pamela and James Wilson of Quincy; a sister, Sandra Lee (Terry) Caplinger of Franklin; a brother, James W. “Jim” (Teresa) Wilson II of Poland; two nephews; one niece; two great-nephews; and best friend, Carla Carter.
She was preceded in passing by her maternal grandfather, William Nickens.
Jeni was a 1996 graduate of Franklin Central High School.
She was employed by Dorel Juvenile Group in Columbus.
Jeni enjoyed singing. She had a passion and was active with helping women’s causes. She was an advocate for women who were victims of domestic abuse.
A celebration of Jeni’s life will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
