Ronald Allen “Ron” Bailey, 37, of Chicago, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013.
He was born in Beech Grove on June 20, 1976, to Jack and Janice Townsend Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rich and Joann Townsend; and is survived by his mother and his brother, Michael Bailey.
Ron earned his bachelor’s degree in nuclear pharmacy from Purdue University in 1999 and a graduate certificate from Purdue in regulatory and quality compliance in 2008. Ron earned his doctorate in nuclear pharmacy and was licensed in 12 states. In 2013 he earned a master’s degree in industrial and physical pharmacy.
Ron was very charismatic with a constant thirst for knowledge and enjoyed visiting with his lifelong friends, music, world traveling, theater, arts and culture.
A funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St. (U.S. 31), Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
