Clifford Lee Farmer Jr.
Clifford Lee “Kip” Farmer Jr., 58, of Greenwood, passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013.
He was born March 11, 1955, to Cecelia Anderson Farmer of Crawfordsville and the late Clifford L. Farmer Sr. He worked for R.R. Donnelley & Sons in Crawfordsville for 22 years.
Kip was an avid sports fan, especially of the Chicago Bears, the Colts, Pacers and Purdue Boilermakers. His love of football originated from watching the Bears with his father and later playing for Crawfordsville High School. He also loved the outdoors and animals.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Kristi Green Farmer; his mother, Cecelia; brother-in-law, Ken (Sally) Green; sister-in-law, Karen (Tom) Linson; mother-in-law, Hilda Green; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets, Baylee and Lucy.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at New Hope Church, 5307 W. Fairview Road, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Southside Animal Shelter in Indianapolis or the American Lung Association in care of the funeral home.
