Paul Francis Miller, 92, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, where he was a resident.
He was born Feb. 27, 1921, in Indianapolis. He married Laura Manion on March 28, 1944. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Stowers (Don); two sons, Vernon Miller (fiancée, Ann Wayland, and daughter, Cara) and Russell Miller; grandchildren, Debra Deak (Paul) and Michael Stowers (Mandy); and great-grandchildren, Drew and Derek Deak.
He also was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Emmet; and a son, Paul Miller.
Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.
He retired from American Can Co. after several years of service.
He was a past master of Greenwood Masonic Lodge and past worthy patron of Greenwood Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star.
The Rev. Walter Howard will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Indiana Masonic Home, Ransford Chapel, 690 S. State St., Franklin. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Glenns Valley, Greenwood.
Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin is handling arrangements.
