Mary Ann Woodard
Mary Ann “Annie” Woodard, 72, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Mooresville and a former resident of Johnson County.
She was born Feb. 2, 1941, in Martinsville, to George William and Pauline Mae (Neely) Cale.
She is survived by one daughter, Denna Schoolcraft of Spencer; one grandson, Paul Elliott Schoolcraft; and one niece, Ronda Spurlock of Coatesville.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; two infant brothers; and one sister, Carrie Sue Baker.
She was a 1960 graduate of Union High School.
She was a homemaker.
Annie was a member of the General Assembly of the Church of the Firstborn in Southport. She was a member of the Meadow Lakes Red Hat Society in Mooresville.
Annie will be remembered as a kind and gentle woman.
Brother Jim Plummer will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery near Franklin.
