Raymond Dean Hamlin
Raymond Dean Hamlin, 58, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013.
The son of Raymond Lee and Gwendolyn Louise Piper Hamlin, Raymond was born Jan. 25, 1955, in Franklin.
Raymond was an equipment mechanic at IUPUI and a member of the American Rifle Association.
Raymond is survived by a brother, Randall L. Hamlin of Indianapolis; sisters, Sheila G. Bovard of Greenwood, and Shirley R. (Dennis) Mack, Sharyn K. (Jack) Goodwin and Sharleen F.
Tharpe, all of Franklin; eight nieces; two nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after
4 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Disease Research Fund, Office of Gift Development, Indiana University School of Medicine, 1110 W. Michigan St., Indianapolis, IN 46202-5120.
