Marline Hardwick, 60, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Indiana University Health. She was a resident of Franklin.
She was born Sept. 21, 1952, to the late Raymond R. and Beatrice (Cowan) Burton.
She married Michael Hardwick on May 16, 1970. He survives.
Other survivors include two children, Scott (Midori) Hardwick of Washington and Kerria (Tom) Bodin of Greenwood; two grandsons, Andy Hardwick and Damon McShanog; two brothers-in-law, Archie and Steve Hardwick; a sister-in-law, Teresa Hardwick; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a member of Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church, where she was active as a Sunday school teacher and in Women of Vision. She was a member of the Johnson County Republican Women’s League.
She was employed at Heartland Community Bank. She and her husband hosted foreign exchange students.
The Revs. Mark Polston and Guy Hardin will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. Friday at Edinburgh Separate Baptist Church, 1010 S. Main St. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the church. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
