Judith Marie “Judy” Lucas
Judith Marie “Judy” Lucas, 52, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013, in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin.
She was born on Dec. 15, 1960, in Franklin to Preston and Doris (McClain) Lucas.
Judy is survived by her loving daughter, Stephanie Lucas of Franklin; her grandson, Albert Gene Taylor IV, whom was the joy of her life; her father and stepmother, Preston and Alice Lucas of Franklin; sisters, Debbie (Bruce) Williams of Franklin and Sherry (Rusty Pye) Stainbrook of Franklin; brother, Mark (Raymond Weyer) Lucas of North
Carolina; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in passing by her mother, Doris Lucas.
She was a 1979 graduate of Franklin Community High School.
Judy was employed by Advantage Engineering in Greenwood for several years. She later worked for Bartos Catering in Indianapolis.
She attended Journey Church in Franklin and was a member of the MSSC Club in Franklin. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandsons baseball games and wrestling meets, and of course riding her Harley.
The Rev. Larry McAdams will conduct a celebration of Judy’s life at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton St., (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
