Pauline (Overstreet) Webb, 92, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, at the Franklin United Methodist Community. She was a longtime resident of rural Franklin.
She was born Dec. 6, 1920, in Casey County, Ky., the daughter of the late James Thurman and Vernie (Gabehart) Overstreet. She married Harry Webb Jr. in 1945.
Survivors include one son, Stephen H. (Connie) Webb of Needham; two grandchildren, Heather (Brad Tribble) Webb of Charleston, Ill., and Ed (Emily Meyer) Webb of Chicago; and four great-grandchildren, Tim, Zachary, Natalie and Amelia Tribble.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; her husband, Harry, on June 5, 2009; and five siblings, Hyldia Mae Muhlhauser, Frances Chandler, Robert Fletcher Overstreet, James Logan Overstreet and Lucille Hundley.
Pauline attended school in Greenwood.
She was a homemaker.
Pauline was a member of Second Mount Pleasant Church, where she served on various committees and offices over the years. She was a member of the Happy Homemakers Extension Club for many years.
A service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from noon until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
