Monty V. Ford
Monty V. Ford, 38, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Trafalgar.
Monty was born Feb. 18, 1975, in Franklin to Allen and Regina (Hockensmith) Ford.
He was a heavy equipment operator and loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Some of his favorite times were while he was deer hunting with his brother.
Monty is survived by his parents, Allen and Regina Ford of Trafalgar; a brother, Barry A. (Angela) Ford of Indianapolis; his son, Hunter W. Ford, and stepdaughter, Audrey Butler, both of Bicknell; one niece, Megan Cunningham of Greenwood; paternal grandmother, Wanda Ford of Trafalgar; maternal grandmother, Betty Hockensmith of Franklin; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Wayne Ford and Buddy Hockensmith The Rev. David Stevenson will conduct a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Monday at East Hill Cemetery in Morgantown. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, 179 E. Mulberry St., Morgantown.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, Cremation and Personalization Center in Morgantown.
Memorial contributions may be sent in honor of Monty for an education fund for Hunter Ford in care of Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 308, Morgantown, IN 46160.
