Joseph E. Hall
Joseph E. Hall, 72, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
He was born Feb. 16, 1941, in Indianapolis, a son of Howard Joseph and Roy Bell (Harris) Hall. He worked in construction and retired from Community Health Network, where he worked in environmental services.
Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he enjoyed bowling and participated in semi-professional bowling tournaments. Prior to his illness, Joe and Elaine enjoyed traveling and visiting Tennessee.
He is survived by his loving wife Elaine (Vandenbroeck) Hall of Greenwood; two sons, James Robert (Rachel) Hall of Greenwood and John Daniel (Casie) Hall of Bourbonnais, Ill.; six grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Jarod, Jakob, Jonas and Kennedy; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Catherine Hall; and a brother, John Phillip Hall.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Flanner and Buchanan Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
