Harold Ernest Trulock
Harold Ernest Trulock, 84, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at his Greenwood residence.
He was born March 16, 1929, in Detroit, to Dorothy (Watson) Trulock and William Trulock.
He is survived by four children, Pam (Danny) Ritter of Trafalgar, Trent (Cynthia Eyler) Trulock of Canton, N.Y., Gina Ronk of Greenfield and Michael (Joetta) Trulock of Greenwood; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Jeanne List of Greenfield and Janice Englebright of Deer Park, Texas.
He was preceded in passing by his parents.
Harold attended Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was employed as a police officer with the Indianapolis Police Department for 20 years, retiring in 1976. He later worked for Melvin Simon and Associates as a security officer.
After retirement, he enjoyed volunteering at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
A service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 4 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Carmel Cemetery.
