John L. Bultman Sr.
John L. Bultman Sr., 72, entered into the presence of Jesus on Sunday, March 31, 2013. He was a resident of Whiteland, Ind.
He was born April 15, 1940, in Beech Grove, Ind., to the late Raymond E. and Mildred Louise (Ellis) Bultman.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Karen (Catlin) Bultman; his children, Eddie (Dawn) Bultman, John (Sandra) Bultman Jr., Angie Farno and Gina (Brad) Grider; grandchildren, Nick, Mariah, Eli, Dustin and Jacob Bultman, Bryan (Teri) Farno, Heather (Aaron) Frith and Logan Grider; great-grandchildren, Avery, Lillian and Brayden; and sister, Shirley (Larry) Windle.
John owned and operated Meridian Engine Exchange for more than 35 years before retiring, and he most recently was a bus driver for Clark-Pleasant Community School Corp.
John was a member of Greenwood Christian Church and a former member of New Whiteland Christian Church, where he served as treasurer, deacon and elder.
He was an avid Colts fan and fisherman and loved gardening and spending time with his family. He made annual fishing trips to Canada over the last 26 years with his family.
A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, at Greenwood Christian Church, 2045 Averitt Road, Greenwood. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church. John will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood Christian Church in John’s memory.
