Natalie M. “Tallie” Thompson, 91, of Edinburgh, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Homeview Health in Franklin.
She was born Sept. 21, 1921, in Indianapolis to the late Joseph and Magdaline (Pinch) Gasser.
She married Lawrence Thompson on Aug. 16, 1941. He preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1973.
Survivors include three children, Wayne (Sue) Thompson of Nineveh, Shirley (Larry) Eades of Franklin and Judy (Kenny) Simpson of Columbus; two brothers, Roman (Jean) Gasser and Erich (Betty) Gasser, both of Scottsburg; five grandchildren, Delaine DeHart, Shannon Phelps, Gwen Todd, Jason Simpson and Emily Watson; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Merle, George and Nelson Gasser.
She was a member of Edinburgh United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
She retired in 2002 from Como Plastics in Columbus.
She enjoyed gardening and was known for Tallie cookies.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Edinburgh United Methodist Church, 107 W. Campbell St., Edinburgh, with the Revs. Kevin Reed and Byron Fritz officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from noon until the service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Arrangements are being handled by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
