Geneva L. Spear, 84, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at Greenwood Meadows. She was a resident of Greenwood.
Survivors include three children, Gordon (Noi) Spear Jr., Marvin L. (Cindy) Spear and Dianna (Tracy) Hutton; a brother, Randall Hughes; a sister, Geraldine Haney; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Velma Estep Hughes; her husband,
Gordon Spear Sr.; a daughter, Debra Nevala; and two siblings, Johnnie M. Hughes and Myrtle Hammond.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Southport Chapel, 7520 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
