Deanna Kay Todd, 53, of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Greenwood Meadows Nursing Home.
She was born Aug. 3, 1959, in Greenwood to Robert C. Todd and Viola (Arnold) Todd. She graduated from Center Grove High School in 1977 and was a jeweler, working for Herff-Jones Jewelry.
She loved to laugh and joke and brightened the room when she walked in and always saw the good in people. She was the life of the party.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Lane and Alicia Lane, both of Greenwood; a brother, Bill (Charlotte) Todd of Greenwood; two sisters, Donna (Brad) Bevers of Ocean Spring, Miss., and Darlene Todd of Reelsville; four grandchildren; one nephew; four nieces; and eight great-nephews and great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an aunt, Linda White.
A celebration of life gathering will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Smith Valley Baptist Church, 4682 W. Smith Valley Road in Greenwood.
In lieu flowers, the family requests that donations for the grandchildren be sent in care of Crystal Bevers, 29 Country Wood Drive, Whiteland, IN 46184.
Swartz Family Church And Chapel–Funeral and Cremation Service in Greenwood is handling arrangements.
