William Delmar “Bill” Lambert, 89, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin and a former resident of Indianapolis.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Susan Phelps of Greenwood; two grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Ruth Scarborough, Lula Brown, and Carl, Robert and Albert Lambert.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Gertrude (Dye) Lambert; his wife, Josephine (Swearinger) Lambert; one great-grandson; and two brothers, Virgil and James Lambert.

The Rev. Charles Stanley will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Friday in the Kresge Chapel at the Indiana Masonic Home, 690 S. State St., Franklin. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Friday at the chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and/or the Indiana Masonic Home Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
