Richey N. Lambert, 77, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital. She was a resident of Georgetown.
She was the former Richey Nicholson, a native of Tonica, Ill.
She was a retired teacher and homemaker.
She was a member of Beta Omega Chapter PSI Iota XI and several bridge groups. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Tonica, Ill., and the Presbyterian Church in Crawfordsville.
Richey was the No. 1 fan and cheerleader of her husband, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, George Lambert; one son, Dale M. (Vickie) Lambert of Noblesville; three daughters, Leslie E. (Doug) Baim of Yorktown, Jamie L. Lambert of Georgetown and Veronica Bacigalupo of Vina Del Mar, Chile; two brothers, Robert Bruce (Sandy) Nicholson of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Bradley K. (Linda) Nicholson of Ladd, Ill.; one sister, Rhoda (Bob) Hobneck of Tonica, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be noon to 7 p.m. Friday at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, 1119 E. Market St., New Albany. The funeral will be conducted at Hurst Funeral Home in Tonica, Ill. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Tonica, Ill.
Memorial contributions may be made to Best Friends, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT 84741 or New Albany Floyd County Public Library, in care of the funeral home.
