John Daniel Fulmer
John Daniel Fulmer, 95, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013.
The son of Lester and Flora Jane (Plummer) Fulmer, John was born Feb. 8, 1917, in Greenwood. He was a 1935 graduate of Greenwood High School and 1939 graduate of Purdue University.
He was a chemical salesman with Farm Bureau Co-Op and also owned and operated Fulmer’s Orchard in Greenwood.
John was a member of Mount Pleasant Christian Church in Bargersville, Masonic Lodge No. 679 and Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite.
He enjoyed golf, fishing, gardening, bowling, shuffleboard and wintering in Florida.
John is survived by a son, John N. Fulmer; a daughter, Janet (Dennis) Norman; two brothers, Jim and Merrill Fulmer; four grandchildren, Jay Fulmer, Jill (Doug) Miller, Duane and Daniel Norman; and six great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremy and Jessica Miller, and Steven, Chris and David Norman.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Vera; and a brother, Bayard.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
Contributions may be made to Mount Pleasant Christian Church, in care of the funeral home.
