Norma Ann Adams
Norma Ann Adams, 79, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. She was a longtime resident of Nineveh and more recently a resident of Franklin Meadows.
She was born May 31, 1933, in London, Ky., to Ralph P. and Lulu (Depew) George.
She married Bill Jack Adams on June 12, 1951. He lovingly survives in Nineveh.

Adams, Douglas E. (Julie) Adams and Angela (Lamon) Proffitt; 12 grandchildren, Shawn, Heather, Tiffany, Elijah, Rachel, Dustin, Hannah, Grace, Jesse, Jack, Nick and Isaiah; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glen Ray (Jewell) George and Roger Lee (Vicky) George; and two sisters, Helen
Adams and Lois (Sam) Thomas.
She was preceded in passing by her parents; a grandson, Chad Adams; and a brother, Paul George.
She graduated from Hazel Green School in Laurel County, Ky.
Norma Ann was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years at the Nineveh post office and in Indianapolis.
She was a member of Nineveh Christian Church and taught
Sunday school for many years.
Norma Ann most enjoyed the Sunday dinners at her and Bill’s home with family and friends. She also enjoyed caring for children, especially Pastor Tom’s daughter, Dori.
Pastor Tom Knight will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Nineveh Christian Church, 1261 E. County Road 775S, Nineveh. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin, and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery.
