Alice Mae Cole
Alice Mae Cole, 81, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013.
She was born June 25, 1931, in Rushville to Francis S. and Geneva (Hileman) Wall. She graduated from Morristown High School and was a senior underwriter for a number of insurance companies.
Alice was an avid fisherwoman and loved to talk and spend time with her family.
She was a founding member of Indian Creek Christian Church and a former member of Shiloh Christian Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Shiloh Christian Church Ladies Auxiliary and Blue River Motorcycle Ladies Auxiliary and worked with the Hancock County 4-H Club.
She married Carter Cole on Aug. 6, 1949; and he preceded her in death May 2, 2003.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (Brenda) and Charles (Linda) Cole; four daughters, Pamala (Leo) Bergeron, Karen (Fred) Wainscott, Jeanine Kinser and Kimberly (Steve) Fitch; two brothers, Ralph (Linda) and David (Charlene) Wall; a sister, Jeannie (Marvin) Engleking; 18 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
