Arvilla J. "June" Kibler
Arvilla J. “June” Kibler, 87, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at the Four Seasons Retirement Center in Columbus.
She was born Aug. 18, 1925, in Brown County to the late John Wesley and Elva Mae (Hunt) Dine. She married Charles A. Kibler on Oct. 23, 1952.
Survivors include a son, Philip C. (Heather) Kibler of Indianapolis; daughter-in-law, Susan Kibler of Columbus; grandchildren, Melinda Baker, Alan Kibler, Brittany Morrow and Michael Kibler; siblings, Walter, Herman Auther and Morris Dine, Mary Richart, Maude Richart, Edith Bailey and Thelma Eby; and four great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and a member of Spearsville Road Church of Christ in Trafalgar and Order of the Eastern Star chapter in Clifford. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending church, canning, sewing, gardening and spending time with the Ladies Only Club. She was proud to have been a Sunday school teacher and song leader for more than 50 years.
The Rev. Mike Goodwin will conduct a funeral service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Spearsville Road Church of Christ, 6244 S. County Road 500W in Trafalgar. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St. in Edinburgh, and from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the church. Burial will be at Spearsville Road Church of Christ Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Spearsville Road Church of Christ in care of the funeral home.
