Bernice Salem Duvall, age 90, of Bloomington passed away Saturday evening, Jan. 12, 2013, at the Brown County Health and Living Center in Nashville.

She was born June 5, 1922, in Vigo County to Arthur and Mabel Barbee Salem.

Bernice was a graduate of Wiley High School in Terre Haute, spent her professional career with the William H. Block Company in Women’s Clothing in Indianapolis, and was a member of the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bloomington.

She is survived by son, David Duvall and his wife, Margaret, of Bloomington; daughter, Chris Hart of Santa Ana, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Duval, in 2000; sister, Nadene Seidel; and brother, Ralph Salem.
