Mary Lou (White) Jarrett
Mary Lou (White) Jarrett, 92, Fishers, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.
She was born Jan. 29, 1920, to Jessie B. and Mary Alma (Dunlap) White in Swayzee.
Mary Lou attended Indiana Central Business College. She retired after working 19 years in the passport office at Fort Benjamin Harrison. She was a member of Fishers United Methodist Church, where she was involved in the Faith Circle and 50 Plus Club. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 446.
She enjoyed playing games, working crossword puzzles and knitting and crocheting. She also had a love of sports and the ocean.
She is survived by three daughters, Janice Marie (James A.) Brooks of Fishers, Sharon Elaine (Mel) Blades of Indianapolis and Patricia Lynn (Steve) Ringer of Greenfield; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Albert B. Jarrett (Oct. 17, 2006); and a brother, Fred White.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at Randall and Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers, with the Rev. Kevin McKinney officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
