Shirley A. Tucher, 76, of Indianapolis, formerly of La Paz, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, after a lengthy illness.
She was born on April 3, 1936, in Westmoreland, Tenn., to Virgil and Margaret “Wadeen” (Leath) Willis.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathy (Roger) Ecker of La Paz, Linda (Bobby) Keithley of Morristown, Brenda (Merlin) Borkholder of Bremen and brother, Wayne Willis of Westmoreland, Tenn.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, seven nephews and one niece.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Doug Willis; son, Rick Tucher and nephew, James Willis.
Shirley retired as a Metro City bus driver in Indianapolis.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday with funeral services to follow at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135 Greenwood.
