Barbara Bell Lehr, 69, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Franciscan St. Francis Health-Indianapolis. She was a resident of Greenwood.
She was born Sept. 23, 1943, in Seattle, Wash., to Charles N. and Myra E. Bell. She married Fred E. Lehr on Oct. 10, 2006. He lovingly survives.
Other survivors include her mother, Myra E. Bell; daughters, Susan (Scott) Brown and Diane (Andy) Patton; stepdaughter, Annie (Santos) Ruiz; stepson, Chad Lehr; sisters, Elizabeth (Kevin) Loucks of Stevenson, Wash., Julie (Michael) Cardinale of Winchester, Va.; brother, Charles N. Bell, Jr.; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in passing by her father, Charles N. Bell.
Barbara was a graduate of Whiteland Community High School, class of 1961. She then attended the University of Indianapolis.
She worked as a paralegal for the U.S. Attorney’s office in Indianapolis.
A memorial gathering will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St., Franklin.
