Lula Lavaughn (Reed) Thomas, 97, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013. She was a resident of Martinsville.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Thomas; two children, Ronald and Dennis Thomas; a brother, Charles Reed; and more than 30 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Thomas; a son, Richard Thomas; and her parents, Thurman and Minnie (Martin) Reed.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the mortuary. Private burial will be at Carmel Cemetery.
