Judith Ann “Judy” (Dachnowski) Mirowski, 64, of Greenwood passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.

She was born June 14, 1948, in Hamtramck, Mich., to Boleslaw “Bill” and Olga Josephine (Palta) Dachnowski. She married Craig Mirowski on Jan. 30, 1970, and he survives.

Also surviving are two children, Brenda A. Bolinger and Bryan Mirowski, both of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Bradley A. Bolinger, Matthew B. Mirowski and Taylor L. Mirowski; and two siblings, Gerald Dachnowski and Joann Dachnowski-Grochowski, both of Michigan.

She and her husband moved to Tulsa, Okla., and then to Greenwood in 1980 and became members of the parish of Our Lady of the Greenwood Queen of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church.

She retired in 2001 from Irwin Mortgage. She owned a ceramic shop on Main Street in Greenwood with her husband.

She loved sewing, reading and spending summers camping with her husband at Brookville Lake. She also loved spending time with her grandkids and their activities and working the church festival.

Monsignor Mark Svarczkopf will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Greenwood Queen of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 335 S. Meridian St. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Glenns Valley, Greenwood, at a later date.

Swartz Family Church and Chapel-Funeral and Cremation Services in Greenwood is handling arrangements.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Indiana University Cancer Center, 535 Barnhill Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
