Constance E. ‘Connie’ Nitsch
Constance E. “Connie” Nitsch, 60, of Davenport, Fla., died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, in Westerville, Ohio.
On Oct. 2, 1952, Connie was born in Mount Clemens, Mich., to Harry L. and Lillian Eileen Slaughter Kidwell.
Connie graduated from Center Grove High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University.
In her free time, she enjoyed reading, boating and traveling.
Connie was a kindergarten teacher and a member of Protestant Women of the Chapel in Europe.
Survivors include her parents; her husband, Karthur Nitsch; two children, Nick (Marcie) Nitsch of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Alissa (Shane) Turner of Frostproof, Fla.; two grandchildren, Hudson Nitsch and Maddox Nitsch; four siblings, Sherry (Tom) Hensley of Franklin, Linda (Mike) Daffin of Westerville, Ohio, Harry Kidwell of Tampa, Fla., and Ryan (Carey) Kidwell of Newark, Del.; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Dr. Steven (Constance) Nitsch of Kalamazoo, Mich., Kurt (Beverly) Nitsch of Southport, Nancy Nitsch-Miller of Orlando, Fla., and Karen (Jeff) Schliesman of Hewett, Wis.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St. Connie will be laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Glenns Valley, Greenwood. Visitation was Friday.
