Margaret Alverson Weber, 91, of Largo, Fla., and a former resident of Greenwood, peacefully went to spend eternity with her Lord under the watchful care of dedicated hospice people and surrounded by her close, caring family on Nov. 21, 2012.
She was born May 7, 1921. Margaret married John Weber on Sept. 14, 1946. She retired after 37 years from Western Electric Co. in Indianapolis.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks in Largo, Fla. She was a longtime member of Bargersville Christian Church.
Margaret is survived by a son, John William Doles of Largo, Fla.; two daughters, Mary Joe (Verbil) Isbell of Largo, Fla., and Barbara Ann (Ronald) Schooley of Greenwood; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Weber, in 2006; a daughter, Betty Haymaker in 2003; a son, David E. Weber in 1992; a grandson, Gary Hug in 1999; her parents, David and Mary Becker Alverson; three brothers; and one sister.
