Howard L. Burnell, 79, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. He was a resident of Indianapolis.
Survivors include his children, Herbert Burnell, Theresa Bagan, Walter Burnell and Heidi Dixon; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Abel.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Burnell and parents, Effen and Alvera Burnell.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
