JoAnn “Jodi” M. Meyer
JoAnn “Jodi” M. Meyer, 69, passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, with her family by her side. She was a resident of Greenwood.
Jodi is survived by her mother, Phyllis Halterman; a sister, Cletia (John) Bowron; a daughter, Allison Meyer; a son, Nickolas (Amber) Meyer; and a granddaughter, Ryela Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Butch” Meyer; and a brother, Joe Halterman.
Not only was Jodi a consummate mother and homemaker, she was an accomplished artist and seamstress, line dancer, golf enthusiast and bull-riding fan.
She was loved by many for her contagious smile, sense of humor with her own twist of sass, and strong caring for others. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support in many heartfelt forms.
Jodi’s legacy will be celebrated with a service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135 at Olive Branch Road. A reception will follow at Jodi’s home. Friends may gather at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday.
