Mrs. Joy Lee Campbell, 89, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012. She was a resident of Franklin.
She was born Dec. 6, 1922, in Knox County, a daughter of Homer and Bonnie Tryon.
Survivors include two sons, Robert H. (Patricia) Omstead and Kip M. (Amanda) Omstead; a daughter Sarah (William) Wright; and four grandchildren, Jon, Jacob, Gwen and Renee Omstead.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. Milton H. Omstead; her second husband, Jess Campbell; and one grandchild.
Joy was a graduate of Monroe City High School. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Petersburg and Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin.
She worked as a receptionist for 28 years at the office of her husband, Dr. Milton H. Omstead.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Franklin United Methodist Community, Wright Chapel, 1070 W. Jefferson St., Franklin. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Monday at the chapel. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 1108 N. Vincennes Ave., Petersburg.
