Donald R. Garo, 68, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at his residence in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife, Diana (Storm) Garo; daughter, Kimberly (Eddie) Shaw of Bartlett, Tenn.; sons, Robert (Dawn) Garo of Poland and Donald Garo of Avon; mother, Marjorie (Lynch) Lynn of Martinsville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Donnita (Terry) Cline of Indianapolis, Sharon Williams of Brownsburg, Toney (Joe) Gatliff of Arizona and Linda (Dick) Dillon of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Garo, and brother, Thomas Garo.
Rev. Anthony Slutz will conduct a funeral service at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
