Catherine May (Cabasier) Mueller
Catherine May (Cabasier) Mueller, 86, passed away Oct. 30, 2012, in Franklin. She was a resident of Morgantown.
She was born Jan. 18, 1926, in Vincennes, the daughter of Mitchell and May Cabasier.
She met the love of her life, Edward Mueller at the Franklin Skating Rink during a square dance in June 1953. They married on May 28, 1955. He survives in Morgantown.
Other survivors include a son, Joe (Karen) Mueller of Morgantown; three grandchildren, Mitchell (Theresa) Mueller of Indianapolis, Matthew Mueller of Morgantown and Linda Mueller of New Whiteland; and two great-grandchildren, Macy M. Bryant and Zachary Perry.
She was preceded in passing by her parents.
She was employed by St. Francis Health and Hospital in Beech Grove in the medical records department for 22 years.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church.
Catherine loved to square dance. She was well-known for her cooking, especially her meatloaf. She loved listening to country and gospel music.
Catherine was very involved with helping out at Roncalli High School over the years.
A Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 S. Meridian St. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of the Mass Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
