Clarence J. Koch

Clarence J. Koch, 99, of Greenwood, passed away on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.

He was born on Aug. 3, 1913, to Edward and Emma Koch.

Clarence enjoyed travel, gardening and yard work.

He was a former member of Zion Evangelical Christian Church.

His wife of 68 years, Dorothy, along with their lovely granddaughter, Julie, preceded him home.

Clarence is survived by his son, Jack (Linda) Koch; a daughter, Anne (John) Swengel; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He served in the 10th Armored Division in World War II and was in the Battle of the Bulge.

He was a parts manager at Coburn Chevrolet and Nankivell Chevrolet prior to holding the same position at Hubler Chevrolet before retiring.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Clarence will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
